Comprehensive Eye Exam
We use state of the art instruments and technology for our eye health evaluation and vision examination to provide you with the best possible care for your eyes. On routine eye examination, many systematic diseases and eye-related conditions may be detected (diabetes, hypertension, elevated cholesterol, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration). We can provide treatment for glaucoma, dry eyes, “pink eye” infections, and corneal foreign bodies. Should you require a retinal specialist, eye surgeon, internist or neurologist, we are able to refer you to the best doctors in town. We also participate in the co-management of our cataract and laser vision correction patients. We offer 24-hour care coverage for eye emergencies. Our office accepts most insurance plans. Call our office for an appointment today.
Contact Lenses
We offer a full range of contact lens services and materials: Disposable soft, gas permeable rigid, bifocal toric lenses for astigmatism, and eye enhancing colors. We have an extensive inventory of diagnostic soft disposable lenses. So, for most new fits, you will be able to wear your new lenses home that same day. We offer online ordering, competitive prices, and free shipping for a year supply of disposable soft lenses. *NOTE: Insurance coverage cannot be applied when ordering contact lenses online. If you wish to have your insurance billed, you will need to call our office to order boxes.*
Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT)
CRT is a non-surgical process that reshapes the cornea of your eye while you sleep. You simply remove the lenses when you wake up and enjoy good vision the whole day without and glasses or contacts lenses. Each night, the very comfortable, highly oxygen permeable lenses must be worn to preserve the therapeutic effect. Ask us if CRT is right for you.
Optical Dispensing
We offer a wide variety of fashionable and designer frames. Our highly qualified optical technicians can help you select the frame and lens options that will best satisfy your visual needs. They can also adjust and repair your eyewear should the need arise.

Computer Lenses
Computer use is one of the most visually demanding tasks your eyes can perform. We can prescribe lenses specially designed to relieve the eyestrain, glare, blurred vision, and headaches that are often experienced by computer users.
Laser Vision Correction
Most people with vision correction issues are wanting to know more about LASIK and whether it is right for them. Here is a brief description of the procedure;
A flap is surgically cut in the cornea and gently folded back. An Excimer Laser is used to reshape the cornea into a flatter shape (this is much like a contact lens corrects vision by forming a new shape on the cornea). The flap is then put back in place, acting like a natural bandage. The healing process is quick and the discomfort level is quite low.
People will often say that they did not feel anything, and could see well the very first day. Most people have improved vision in 24-48 hours. but it must be noted that each person will heal at a different rate. Vision, although greatly improved immediately after surgery, often continues to improve for some weeks, even months.
LASIK is not for everyone. People's eyes are different so even though you may have had a friend who has had LASIK, it may not be the best course of treatment for you. If you are interested in laser vision correction, we will be happy to guide you in picking the right surgeon, procedure and laser appropriate for you.
After the procedure, we take great care to monitor your eyes and adjust your medication for the best possible results.
Allergy and Dry Eyes
Our arid climate in Colorado, the process of aging, and certain medications (i.e. anti-depressants, decongestants, anti-hypertensives) can contribute to dry eye problems. Itchy, burning, watering eyes may be a symptom of allergy. New prescription medications like Patanol and Restasis are sake and easy to use and are very effective in relieving those symptoms. Give us a call to see if we can help with you dry eye or allergy symptoms.
Surgery Co-Management
Our office provides many of the surgical services such as Cataract surgery, Laser surgery, Refractive surgery and Strabismic surgery. We offer this in conjunction with the hospital and local eye surgeons.
Additionally, we have working arrangements established with other specialized eye care doctors to manage such things are retinal detachments, retinal tears and hemmorhages.
Insurance Plans
We accept most major medical and vision insurance plans. We can diagnose and treat eye infections, allergy problems, dry eyes, foreign bodies and many other eye conditions. You simply pay your plan’s co-pay and we file with your insurance to take care of the rest. We are continuously updating the plans we accept.
